Saddler Springs

Saddler Springs III

We broke for lunch near a billabong (water hole), then drove down the road to another sandstone outcrop called Marlong Arch. While the Tombs was important to aboriginal men's rites, Marlong Arch was an important aboriginal women's site.

We spent three more days at Saddler Springs, but, unfortunately, my camera went on the fritz. Don't worry though — as some students have generously offered to share their pictures. I'll be posting them soon. (I've also got a new camera.)
