I am an observational astronomer with a variety of active research programs designed to understand the structure, formation, and evolution of stars and planets by exploring the time-domain in stellar astrophysics. Specifically, my research focuses on measuring observable properties of magnetic fields on low mass stars other than the Sun and using eclipsing binary stars to understand young and low-mass stellar physics. I am also interested in the discovery and characterization of giant planets around low mass stars. My technical expertise is in the analysis of transiting planets and eclipsing binary systems using time series photometric and spectroscopic data obtained in the near infra-red and optical wavelengths. | |
