AFTER FIVE DAYS on the island, we finally had to say goodbye to Lady Elliot. The reef walking and snorkelling (lots of sharks, turtles, eels, and rays) were great and even the projects were fun. Here the next to last plane to leave is about 100 m from the end of the runway and still has not lifted off. They did make it! | |
