ELABANA FALLS. On Thursday October 1st, the group went for
a 20 km walk to various parts of the Lamington National Park. During the second half
of the day, we walked along the Taloona Creek trail criss-crossing the creek at
several places. There were a number of scenic spots, including Elabana Falls shown
here. Along the hike, Don Butler and Craig Tweedy, botanists from the University
of Queensland, continued discussions of rainforest type and plant physiology.
