RED-BELLIED BLACK SNAKE. The red-bellied black snake, Pseudechis porphyracius, is one of the 10 most venomous snakes in the world. This snake was approaching two meters in length. It was sunning itself along a path. These snakes are acitve by day and feed on frogs, reptiles (including other snakes), and small mammals.

Python. THE CARPET PYTHON is a non-venomous snake which can grow to be 2.5 meters in length. It is sunning itself after having eaten its "lunch" which could have been a possum, rat, bird, or other small animal.
