Wednesday, October 26th 7:30 pm: Fisher Center Lecture: Lesley Dill in the Geneva Room
Thursday, October 27th Take Back the Night 9:30pm: Women meet in front of Smith Hall for the march 10:30pm: Men meet at 5 & 20 and Pultney for the remainder of the march and the candle light vigil on the steps of Coxe Hall.
Friday, October 28th 12pm – 1pm: Lunchtime Lecture by Cecilia Van Hollen (author of Birthing on the Threshold) in Stern 303 (please note the room change). 5:00pm: Opening (Geneva Room) Anna Creadick “Who’s Here?” Interactive Activity 6:00 pm: Pizza in the Library Atrium. 7:00 pm: Slam poet Lenelle Moise in the Pub
Saturday, October 29th 7:30am – 8:30 am: Breakfast in the Community Service House 9am – 12pm: Series of 20 Speakers/Performers Featuring: Alison Redick, Monique Peeler, Sarah Roncolato, Dilcia Gonzalez, Heidi & Kris Ward, Johnie Mallery, Tina Marrow, The Hip~NotiQ’s Step Team, Yvonne Zimmerman, Angela Kruger, Ernest & Alice Muzquiz, Rosa Rivera, Jack Harris, Cadence Whittier, Norma Burgess, Aretha Brown, Craig Rimmerman, Sandra Rivera, Laura Korfine, Sanrda Londino, Linda Schutt & Tatiana Bruno.
12 pm – 12:30 pm: Lunch in the Library Atrium 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: Presentation by Susan Yolen (William Smith Class of ’72) Vice President of Planned Parenthood Ct. (Geneva Room) 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm: First Workshop Session Speakers from the morning session will offer workshops on the topics which they spoke about to gain a more in depth understanding of a particular issue. 3:45 pm – 5:15 pm: Second Workshop Session 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm: Take-Out Menus in the Barn Conference Participants can come to the Barn and order food from a number of restaurants which deliver. Please bring money - we will not be able to cover this meal.
Sunday, October 30th 9:00 am: Gather in Medbury Parking Lot to drive to Seneca Falls 9:30 am - 10:00 am: Introduction to the Women’s Interfaith Institute in Seneca Falls 10:00 am – 10:30 am: Centering / Balance Activity 10:30 – 11:00 Presentation by Gina Lee-Glauser on how to combat racism, sexism and classism in the context of a college campus 11:00 – 12:30 Free time in Seneca Falls to visit the Women’s Hall of Fame, the Women’s Rights Museum and National Park, the Women-Made products Store and a wonderful coffee shop. 12:30pm Return to Geneva. 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Closing Ceremony Planting of the Hope Tree and honoring those who have helped us.
