I am an experimental psychologist with research interests in discourse processing and more recently, confabulated memories. As a researcher, I rely on the scientific method to gain knowledge about these areas. There are three primary components that define a science: systematic empiricism, the production of publicably verifiable knowledge, and the examination of solvable problems.
