We brothers have been working hard to improve the already good name of Sigma Chi to our community. The following is a list of activities that the Alpha Alpha Chapter has been working on in the past year

The days of March 29th through the 31st we have been working together with HWS's Women's collective to promote Domestic Violence Awareness Week by passing out purple ribbons and literature to promote domestic violence awareness.

Together with other Hobart and William Smith organizations we have been participating in the Teammates program, assisting students feel safe while walking around campus late at night by offering rides and walking with students to their dorms and other areas on campus.

Rock for Charity, many of our brothers braved the elements to sit outside and rock in their chairs to raise money. This was a group effort along with other Fraternities on campus. Together we raise quite a chunk of change that was donated to the Geneva Food Bank.

Safety Dance, that is right we were the annoying people in Scandling Center that played Safety Dance repeatedly to raise money to bring Troops for Iraq home for the Holidays.

Again this year we participated in HWS’s Day of Service with a 90% turnout from our house we led the fraternities of Hobart in participation.

Last Christmas we participated in Secret Santa for migrant workers children, a great time was had by all. Santa Arrived a little late but on time to hand out presents to the children and bring a little Christmas cheer into a child’s life. Here is a copy of a letter we received from the workers at Geneva ABCD.

We are currently participating in other Philanthropic ventures which will be listed soon after their completion.
