About NYSWEIC

NYSWEIC is a resource website providing non-biased information and documentation regarding the implementation of wind energy in New York State. The information on this website is presented to show both sides of the wind energy issue. Information submitted by town board members is labeled accordingly and should be used as examples and references for other towns in New York State.

This website is run by Aeron Hurley, an ‘07 senior at Hobart & William Smith Colleges, majoring in Biology and minoring in Social Ecology. All pictures and video clips labeled as NYSWEIC were taken by Aeron during the summer of 2006 for a wind energy research project on the proliferation of wind energy in New York State. These pictures and video clips were included, initially, to demonstrate the purpose and setup of the website to viewers, and were kept for additional resources and are labeled as being submitted by NYSWEIC.

If you would like to submit documents or images to this website, please send them to nysweic@gmail.com

This website is run through the Technology Resource Center at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY.
