PAST COMMENTS
Some friend’s acquaintances and fellow-complainers are starting a full-fledged protest of forced meal plans starting with the formation of a club and petition. This comes up mainly because we're tired of paying for food that we can't eat for various reasons (allergies morals etc) but what pushed it over the edge was talking to the head chef to whom we explained that we were unable to eat the food in Saga mainly because of cross-contamination and lack of gluten-free selections. I explained to the chef that anytime there is a dish containing nuts in any window in Saga I am unable to eat ANYTHING from any line because of the immense amount of cross-contamination. To my explanation he replied: "Cross-contamination happens." He offered no apology showed no worry. The point is that we're tired of being jerked around having our lives threatened AND having to pay for it. We want to make as much noise as possible without causing problems for other students. We would like for you to print something about this to help get the word out: we can't eat we're organizing and we're going to do SOMETHING.
