Lady Elliot Island

Lady Elliot III — 29 September

Today the SCUBA certified had another chance at the deep. Meanwhile, the DSD (Discovery SCUBA Divers) embarked on a supervised dive with the dive masters. As a result of some of these fabulous underwater experiences, a few more of our students are considering certification. Being neutrally buoyant and breathing underwater is really an exhilarating experience. You can move freely up, down or to the sides. Suddenly the world is truly three-dimensional. On the Great Barrier Reef there is life everywhere you look. You may be surprised by a passing turtle, stroke through a school of fishes, or find an eel peeking out at you from beneath a wall or coral.
