• An excellent online resource is HIV InSite, maintained by UCSF. The "HIV InSite Knowledge Base," accessible at this site, is a detailed on-line textbook. The chapters under the heading "The Natural Science of HIV" are particularly relevant, although they're considerably more detailed than the material we'll be discussing in class.
  
  
• JAMA (The Journal of the American Medical Association) maintains a useful online HIV/AIDS Resouce Center. There's a good reading here on dendritic cells, for example.

  AIDS Rochester (ARI) is a good local source of HIV/AIDS information. They have a Geneva office (605 W. Washington St, 781-6303). They also provide free, confidential HIV testing at their Rochester University Ave. location.
  
  
• Project Inform has some very useful information online intended for people living with HIV/AIDS. There's a useful explanation of anti-HIV therapies, a brochure about dealing with the side effects of anti-HIV drugs, and much more.
